Our multi-state and multi-facility Mental Health and Wellness organization has worked with ABILITYusa and their Certified Preferred Providers in various cities throughout the South and North Bay Areas, over a period of many years.
Facilities that have participated in the ABILITYusa Injury Prevention Programs, including Job Analysis and Post-Offer/Pre-Placement testing, have experienced a strengthening in our “Safety Culture”. We have enhanced the selection and retention of personnel who are able to safely perform the duties of their positions. ABILITYusa employment testing provides Pass or Fail results, based on ADA and FEHA compliant criteria. Test results also provide us with a greater understanding of the abilities and/or the individual risks that a new employee might present, enabling added focused training and mentoring.
We have experienced year over year decreases in musculoskeletal injuries, the associated costs, and decreases in turnover. In our facilities where testing is utilized, injury rates and average cost per injury are consistently lower than within our facilities who do not have the testing services available in their geographic areas.
